After about 25 years of pastoral ministry and church planting in Canada and the USA, God called Wolfgang and Charlotte Schweder to a new assignment in Central and Eastern Europe, namely: “Missions in a more effective way”. The call was to empower, mentor, equip and release men and women for Jesus at home and in foreign lands, to move in the anointing and gifts of the Holy Spirit, to reach a world with the life-changing power of the Gospel.

Acts of kindness, children’s camps, orphanage support, refugee assistance, and enhanced educational opportunities.
Church Building & Mission Support
Co-sponsoring church construction and renovation while sending construction, repair, and short-term mission teams to support churches and communities.
During the course of the ministry involvement, Wolfgang, the founder and present president of Undergird International, started to pray the Prayer of Jabez which is found in 1. Chronicles 4:10 “Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my Territory……” – God answered the prayer in wonderful ways. Undergird International has now touched the lives of people with the truth of the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit in many countries of Europe – Bulgaria, Serbia, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, as well as Canada and the USA. With God’s help and anointing, there are more to come.
Wolfgang grew up in Europe (Germany), and because of this, has a good understanding of the culture and needs of the European population. Wolfgang and Charlotte have also been church planters, and know the feeling of loneliness, the times of discouragement, and the times when Satan shoots doubts and puts the family under pressure. They know the times when money is tight, or when the church doesn’t develop as rapidly as one wishes it would. However, having pastored and guided churches, they also know that we have a great God who fills out all of our needs according to HIS riches in glory in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We thank God for the souls being saved, the bodies being healed, the marriages being restored, and the pastors and church planters (young and older) being encouraged to move forward with greater faith and vision to impact their community and to build the Kingdom of God.
As of today, the staff of Undergird International has ministered in countries such as Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and in the Ukraine as well as in the US and Canada. We believe for an ever-expanding open door to empower a new generation of leaders to equip, transform and expand the presence of God’s church at home and abroad.
